Curreri Viaggi is the only direct coach service between Naples Airport and Sorrento. No transfer at Naples Centrale, no Circumvesuviana connection, no port detour — you board at airport arrivals and step off in central Sorrento 80 minutes later. For solo travellers and couples on a budget, it’s the simplest single-seat option.
The tradeoff vs a private transfer: fixed schedule (only 8 departures per day), you share the coach with 40–50 other passengers, no individual pickup time, and the final stop is Piazza Lauro — you still need to walk or taxi to your accommodation.

Where to Board at Naples Airport
The Curreri stop is outside Terminal 1 arrivals, in the bus parking area on the far right as you exit. Look for the blue-and-white Curreri Viaggi sign above the ticket booth. Ticket booth hours 6:30–20:30. If you arrive outside those hours, buy on board from the driver.
Walk time from baggage claim to the Curreri stand: 5–7 minutes. Allow 15 minutes total if security queues are long.

The Route
The Curreri takes the A3 motorway from Naples to the Castellammare exit, then the SS145 along the Sorrento peninsula coast. Stops on the way: Piano di Sorrento, Sant’Agnello, Sorrento Piazza Lauro (final). The journey is smooth but the coastal section has tight curves — passengers prone to motion sickness should sit at the front.
Arriving at Piazza Lauro
Piazza Lauro is 5 minutes’ walk from Piazza Tasso (town centre). The Curreri driver drops you at the kerb; taxis wait opposite. If your hotel is in the historic centre or at Sant’Agnello, you can walk (flat terrain). For Marina Grande or the clifftop belle-époque hotels, a €8–12 taxi closes the gap.
When Curreri is the Right Choice
The coach works well for:
- Solo travellers or couples with standard luggage
- Passengers on a daytime arrival (it doesn’t run after 19:30 from the airport)
- Budget-conscious trips
- Anyone not wanting to navigate the Circumvesuviana
