A shorter snorkeling excursion guided by a marine biologist — ideal for families and anyone who wants to explore the protected coastline without committing to a full morning. You depart from Marina Grande in the afternoon and visit one or two snorkeling sites along the Punta Campanella coast. Your marine biologist swims alongside you, pointing out species and explaining the ecosystem of the Marine Protected Area. Common sightings include damselfish, sea bream, octopus, sea urchins, starfish, and seahorses in the Posidonia seagrass meadows. The limestone cliffs and underwater caves create dramatic scenery even at shallow depths.
