Our transfer service uses modern, air-conditioned Mercedes vehicles driven by licensed, English-speaking drivers. Sedans fit up to 3 passengers with ample boot space for luggage; minivans accommodate up to 8 with even more room. Your driver waits at the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name, helps load your bags, and walks you to the vehicle parked just outside. On board you will find Wi-Fi, phone chargers, bottled water, and child seats on request at no extra charge. [Browse all transfers](/services/private-transfer).
The route takes the A3 motorway south past Mount Vesuvius to Castellammare di Stabia, then the scenic SS145 winds along the cliffs of the Sorrento Peninsula. In normal traffic the drive takes 55–70 minutes, with summer weekends adding 15–20 minutes. Along the way you catch views of the Bay of Naples, the islands of Capri and Ischia, and the lemon groves that blanket the hillsides. Heading to the Amalfi Coast? The Circumvesuviana train alternative costs about €4 but takes nearly two hours door-to-door once you factor in the walk to the platform, the wait, and the crowded standing-room-only carriages with no air conditioning. There is nowhere to store luggage, pickpocketing is common, and the train does not run to your hotel. A private transfer is door-to-door, timed to your flight, and costs less than you think when split between travellers — making it the clear choice for families, groups, or anyone arriving with suitcases.
