“The home is in great condition, with good beds that easily suited our group of 7. We loved having a kitchen, two full bathrooms, three bedrooms, and a sofa bed in the living room. We made good use of the washer and dryer (learned to dump out the water when the dryer beeps). The hosts were great and responsive. Castellammare di Stabia beach area is lovely. And we effectively used this home as our home base to visit Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri, and Amalfi. To be aware of: the mass transit was less convenient than other places we’ve visited in Italy and other parts of Europe. The buses near the home were infrequent. The circumvesuviana train runs between Naples & Sorrento, with a train in either direction every 35 mins. That station (Pioppaino) is a 10 min walk from the home. A couple times, we were packed on that train with other passengers like sardines, and usually had to stand. There aren’t a lot of stores or restaurants in the home’s vicinity. So have a car or be ready to walk a bit.”

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies vary by booking type. Each stay shows its cancellation policy on the listing (Flexible, Moderate or Strict) — most offer free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in. Private transfers can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before pickup; between 7 days and 72 hours the deposit is forfeited; within 72 hours or in case of a no-show the full price is due. Late arrivals may incur waiting fees and, if the pickup moves into the night band (20:00–08:00), the day/night price difference. Full details are in our Terms (sections 8c–8d) and shown before you confirm.
