Tonino's place is in a beautiful location. You are right at the water, and every night you have an incredible view of the sunset. The apartment is really big and spacious, and also clean. The air conditioning worked very well. Tonino is kind and responsive. The restaurant just below the apartment is very good, and there is a private beach right there as well. To get to Sorrento from Piano di Sorrento, you walk 5 minutes to a sea elevator (2 euros for a family of four each way), and then you walk 15 minutes to the train station. After purchasing train tickets, Sorrento is two stops away. You can also take this train to Pompeii and Napoli.

We (3 of us) loved Tonino's place (his childhood home), and it is in a beautiful location. We stayed for 9 days. You are right on the water, overlooking the marina where you can take excursions to the Island of Capri, the Amalfi Coast, to name a few locations. Every night you have an incredible view of the sunset. The apartment is really big and spacious, and also clean. The air conditioning worked VERY well, which was great because it was very hot in August. There were restaurants just below the apartment, and we ate at all of them, and all of them were good. There are two beaches on both sides of the Airbnb. Sorrento shopping center is about 1.5 miles from the Airbnb. There are taxi's, shuttle buses and trains to get around. We had a great time, and we would recommend Tonino's place for anyone staying in the Sorrento area. Tonino was a fantastic host!!

We thoroughly enjoyed Piano di Sorrento and the beautiful marina where the apartment is located. We were busy the few days we stayed so did not really get to enjoy the apartment but did enjoy 3 amazing sunsets from the balcony over looking the marina and Bay of Naples. Tonino was an excellent host and helped schedule a driver who picked us up at the Naples Train station and who then picked us back up when we left and drove us to our hotel in Naples. The restaurants in the Marina were amazing- Fracatell and La Porrado. There was also a little cafe for espresso and croissants. We missed booking a boat tour from the Marina but booked a tour out of Sorrento and took a car to that Marina. Beautiful beach at the Marina where we rented chairs and umbrella for a relaxing afternoon. I highly recommend Cassano Blu and the Marina di Cassano- you will not be disappointed!

We really enjoyed our time in Tonino's place. Keep in mind that this is at the marina and you'll need to take the elevator up and down when you want to venture out (one Euro/person each way). The place was clean, but we did have to wash the utensils before using them (no big deal). Tonino left us some water in the fridge and told us which marina restaurants to visit. This was just about off-season (we were his last guests for the season) and the marina was still active with day tours. I can imagine how lively the place is in the summer! This is a two-bedroom unit (there were just two of us) and there were enough towels, thankfully. The bed was comfortable and the wifi works well. I wish Airbnb would let us post photos because that would seal the deal for you. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the train station. Tonino also came by with two bottles of wine for us, which was extremely nice of him. If we were to visit the area again, we would stay here (although it is a bit remote).

Al no conocer Sorrento ni la zona, deberia ser mas especifica al señalarse que esta lejos del centro, sin mucho que hacer en la zona, es dificil acceder con el auto y las escaleras de acceso al dpto son complicadas. El Dpto estaba limpio y amplio pero solo un baño es amplio y completo y no es muy nuevo

Tonino's apartment was beautiful. We slept with the windows open and woke up each morning to the activity in the marina. The setting along the harbor was stunning. The local restaurants were wonderful and we were treated so nicely. Piano di Sorrento is a gem.

Tonino’s place is magical! We stayed there for a couple of days while visiting the Amalfi cost and it’s breathtaking. The apartment is located a bit far from Sorrento’s city center and taxis are a bit expensive but if you are willing to walk a take the public transport, you won’t regret staying at his house. The sunset views are incredible and there are a couple of very good restaurants in the Marina. Thanks for the hospitality and congratulations for the amazing place Tonino!

Tonino has been an exceptional and very kind host and his home is absolutely beautiful. The listing is exactly how the house looks it is clean, spacious and bright with a huge balcony where you can watch the sunset. We had an amazing 6 nights here. Tonino has always been helpful and quick to answer any questions from the point of booking right through to check out. We are so very pleased we chose Toninos home for our holiday and would highly recommend it to other travellers.

This is the second time we’ve had the pleasure of visiting Cassano Blu in Piano di Sorrento, and SO happy we did. The place is beautiful (pictures really don’t do it or the views justice), well appointed, clean and peaceful. We really enjoyed our time here, either as a base of operations - we went to Capri, Pompeii, and Amalphi, or just chilling on the deck with a glass or cup and basking in the views. Cassano blu was an amazing getaway. From the location, to the people, to the restaurants, we could not have asked for a better stay. Tonino was an excellent host who met you at check in. He gave amazing recommendations and told us how to rent a boat from right below the apartment for a trip to capri! We walked to Sorrento as well, a 30 minute walk but taxis do run down to the apartment as well. We cannot wait until the next time we come to visit.

The accommodation was as expected - excellent. Very spacious and clean, beds very comfortable. Close to the lift that takes you to the cliff top. About 15 mins walk to Piano railway station or if you prefer 50 mins walk to Sorrento town centre. There is also a direct bus which we did not use. We did not meet Tonino as he was away but Roberta efficiently helped with any questions. Highly recommended.

This is our second time staying at Tonino’s wonderful apartment. It’s absolutely clean, Tonino is very responsive and friendly and the view is breathtaking. We had everything we need for a family of 4. He organized our rides for us and gave lots of useful tips for the area. I’m sure we will be back again.

The view overlooking Piano and the wider Bay of Naples was excellent with a few great restaurants within meters. To be based within the local community was nice also as we say how hard they all work to accommodate the tourists looking for day trips and ferries. We were an extended family of 5 and found the accommodation to be splendid. Great base to get out and about.

Tonino’s place is chef’s kiss Sorrento living. The apartment was spotless, roomy enough for our little crew of 3 girls to spread out, and the postcard-worthy marina views had us uploading on social media faster than the Wi-fi could keep up. Beds were cloud-level comfy and AC was a literal lifesaver. Tonino himself deserves a standing ovation- he provided a curated hit list of local restaurants and assisted with taxis. We basically just showed up and ate pasta. A couple of FYIs so you’re not surprised: The apartment sits down by the water, so you’ll need to ride the public lift (€1/pp) to reach town. It’s quick and kinda of fun, but factor it in. Getting into central Sorrento requires a short taxi ride (worth every euro after a limoncello or three) This apartment is a perfect setup for a small fam or group who wants serenity by the sea. Would book again in a heartbeat. Grazie, Tonino!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Tonino’s place in Piano di Sorrento. The location is just astounding…the sunsets over the marina are just beautiful! The apartment had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean, and had loads of space for our family of five. We enjoyed eating out at some of the lovely local restaurants as well as eating in (and use of the washing machine was much appreciated!). Travel to the local area / sights was easy by train (Sorrento and Pompeii) and by water (day trip to Capri). I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to this area, and 100% think it is a better location for a relaxing break than Sorrento town. Only slight negative on the area - the water at the beach/shoreline was not quite as clean as it could have been (some floating rubbish) but was fine when swimming a bit deeper (was perhaps temporary, I don’t know). But the apartment itself was wonderful and as I say I would highly recommend! Thanks Tonino for a lovely stay!

This stay was wonderful! The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with stunning views even more beautiful than the photos. Tonino provided bottled water and coffee, making mornings by the harbor extra special as we watched the boats come and go. The apartment had everything we needed—Wi-Fi, AC, a stove, and a small washer. Tonino was quick to respond and went above and beyond when our ferry was canceled, patiently waiting for us to arrive on the next train and sharing helpful local tips that made our stay stress-free. The location was peaceful, aside from some honking on the narrow street, and we enjoyed both walking and taking the 1-Euro elevator up to town. There are both public and private beaches nearby. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this spot!

We had a great stay in Piano Di Sorrento. Tonino was a great host, met us at check in to show us round the apartment. Tonino was always available for any questions and had lots of helpful advice for our stay. The apartment is great, right beside the beautiful harbour with lovely restaurants only a few steps away.

Tonino’s place is a slice of heaven to return to from a busy Sorrento. The view is unreal, and the restaurants right around the apartment are lovely (and so are the people!) Tonino coordinated so much for us- from recommendations, to check in, to private transport. We felt like family! Don’t look anywhere else, book it!

We had a lovely 3 day stay. Location is right at the marina so it’s always lively but not loud. The setting and scenery are both stunning with its location at the base of a cliff and right on the water. The accommodations were as advertised and very clean. I highly recommend the car service Tonino suggests as they are friendly and relatively cost effective. Tonino is a gracious host and we would return if ever in the area again.

Amazing stay. We are so glad we chose to stay in this area rather than the city center. It was cozy and comfortable, and steps from an amazing private beach. The Airbnb was very spacious and clean. Something to keep in mind: It is very cheap to get around using local transit (which is about a 15m walk away). If you rely on taxis only, it's at least 50 euro to go into the city center. Local transit was easy to navigate. The only downside to this stay was the noise of the motorcycles driving on the street outside the apartment at night. If I'm back in Sorrento, I will definitely be staying here!

We were so happy with Cassano Blu and Tonino overall! The rooms were huge, views were gorgeous and the location was convenient to walk into the square, train station, and the lift if you didn't want to walk up the switchback road. Staying here gave us the experience of Italy. We washed and hung clothes on line like the Italians do. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony overlooking the Marina each evening while deckhands washed down the sailboats or yachts with Mt. Vesuvius majestically in the background. We could not recommend more! Clean, convenient, spacious and Tonino was just the best!
