Naples to Amalfi Coast Transfer
Getting from Naples to the Amalfi Coast should feel like the start of your holiday, not an obstacle course. BlueKeys provides private, door-to-door transfers from Naples Capodichino airport and central Naples to every village on the Amalfi Coast — Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Praiano, Maiori and beyond. Fixed prices, professional drivers and no stress.
The Amalfi Coast is not the easiest place to reach by public transport. From Naples, you would need to take a train to Sorrento or Salerno, then a bus or ferry to your final destination — a journey that can take three hours or more with luggage changes and uncertain schedules. A private transfer simplifies everything: a driver meets you at the airport, loads your bags, and delivers you directly to your holiday home.
Drive times from Naples airport vary by destination: Positano takes approximately 90 minutes, Amalfi about 75 minutes (via the Salerno route) and Ravello around 80 minutes. Your driver will choose the best route based on real-time traffic. If Sorrento is your destination, see our dedicated Naples to Sorrento transfer page.
Our vehicles range from comfortable sedans for couples to eight-seat minivans for families and groups. Every car is fully licensed, insured and air-conditioned. Child seats and booster seats are available at no extra charge — just let us know when booking. View all our services for full pricing and vehicle options.
Many guests also use the transfer as an opportunity to visit Pompeii or Herculaneum en route. We offer a popular "transfer with stop" package that includes a two-hour pause at the archaeological site, with the driver waiting in the car park while you explore. Once settled on the coast, book a boat tour or a private charter to see the coastline from the sea.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much is a transfer from Naples to the Amalfi Coast?
Prices depend on your destination. Naples to Positano: approximately 130-160 EUR per vehicle. Naples to Amalfi: approximately 120-150 EUR. Naples to Ravello: approximately 130-160 EUR. Prices are per vehicle (not per person), making them excellent value for groups of 2-4.
Can I stop at Pompeii on the way to the Amalfi Coast?
Yes, this is one of our most popular options. For an additional 30-40 EUR, the driver will stop at Pompeii (or Herculaneum) for approximately two hours while you visit the ruins, then continue to your Amalfi Coast destination.
What is the best route from Naples to the Amalfi Coast?
For Positano, the Sorrento route via the SS145 and SS163 is most common. For Amalfi, Ravello and villages east of Positano, the A3 motorway to Salerno followed by the SS163 coastal road is usually faster. Your driver will choose the optimal route on the day.
Do you offer return transfers from the Amalfi Coast to Naples?
Absolutely. We arrange transfers in both directions and can schedule the return pick-up on the day you book your outbound trip. Early morning transfers for flights are no problem — drivers are available from 4:00 AM.
