Positano is arguably the most photographed village on the Amalfi Coast, with its cascade of pastel houses tumbling down to a grey-sand beach. But reaching it is notoriously tricky for first-time visitors. From Naples Airport (NAP), the drive takes approximately 75 minutes — south on the A3 motorway, then west along the SS163 coast road through Vietri, Amalfi, and Praiano before descending into Positano. The final stretch involves a series of tight switchbacks that test even experienced drivers. A professional transfer takes the stress out entirely.
Current fixed prices for Positano transfers: from Sorrento, the 40-minute drive costs €108 for a sedan (up to 3 passengers) or €144 for a minivan (up to 7). From Naples Airport, the 75-minute ride is €147 (sedan) or €171 (minivan). These are door-to-door prices — your driver meets you at the airport arrivals hall or picks you up at your accommodation, handles your luggage, and drops you right at your hotel entrance in Positano.
Parking in Positano is a genuine problem. The town has fewer than 200 public parking spaces for thousands of daily visitors. The main lots fill by mid-morning in summer and charge €8–10 per hour. Many hotels have no parking at all. Arriving by private transfer means you don't need to circle for 45 minutes looking for a spot, don't pay €40–60 for a day of parking, and don't have to lug suitcases up and down the town's famously steep stairways from a distant car park.
For day trips or onward travel, BlueKeys also offers transfers from Positano to Amalfi (20 min), Ravello (40 min), Praiano (10 min), and back to the airport or Sorrento. Many guests book a return transfer when they leave, since the SITA bus from Positano is standing-room only by mid-morning in peak season and the stop is a steep climb from most hotels.
