Our most popular food experience is the Sorrento Food Tour — a 4-hour private walking tour through the historic centre and Marina Grande with five tasting stops including fresh mozzarella di bufala, gnocchi alla sorrentina, cuppo fritto, artisanal limoncello, and gelato. The guide fee is €200 per group plus €35 per person for all food and drinks — for a group of four, that works out to roughly €85 per person for four hours of eating, drinking and local storytelling. For a deeper Neapolitan experience, the Bite of Naples food tour takes you through the historic centre of Naples — from Piazza del Gesù through Spaccanapoli to San Gregorio Armeno. Taste authentic pizza margherita (from €4 at the best pizzerias in the world), frittatina di pasta, babà soaked in rum, sfogliatella riccia still warm from the oven, and finish with gelato at Gay Odin. The Naples tour costs €250 per group plus €35 per person for food, and it is the ultimate introduction to the city that invented pizza. If you prefer hands-on cooking, our Sorrento cooking class teaches you to make fresh pasta, gnocchi alla sorrentina, or Neapolitan pizza in a wood-fired oven. The food on the Amalfi Coast varies dramatically from village to village, and part of the joy of eating here is discovering each town's speciality. In Cetara, the star ingredient is colatura di alici — an amber anchovy sauce descended from Roman garum, drizzled over spaghetti for around €14. In Amalfi, handmade pasta called scialatielli is served with fresh seafood. In Ravello, restaurants perched 350 metres above the sea serve dishes as dramatic as the views — a full meal with wine at a panoramic restaurant runs €40–€60 per person. In Positano, the waterfront restaurants along Spiaggia Grande are pricier (expect €50–€70), but the sunset setting is hard to beat.
