Transfer, ferry or bus?
From April to early November the ferry is the scenic option: NLG boats leave Molo Beverello, the port of Naples, for Positano, with a crossing of about 1 hour 35 minutes and a one way adult ticket at €32 (NLG, checked September 2026). The boat lands at the beach, below the village.
SITA has no direct bus from Naples to Positano. On public transport by road the usual route goes through Sorrento: the Curreri shuttle from the airport (€13, 75 to 90 minutes), then the SITA bus to Positano, about 50 minutes, with a single ticket at €2.40. Curreri also sells airport tickets to Positano for €20; its published timetable covers the Sorrento line.
A private transfer covers the whole distance in one vehicle, with your luggage, from the airport, the station or the port to your address in Positano. The price is per vehicle, so a group travelling together shares one fare.
