Private transfer, bus or ferry?
SITA has no direct bus from Naples to Positano. The usual public transport route from the airport is the Curreri shuttle from the airport to Sorrento (€13, 75 to 90 minutes, 8 runs a day between 09:00 and 19:30), then the SITA bus along the coast: about 50 minutes to Positano and 75 to 100 minutes to Amalfi, with single tickets at €2.40 and €3.40 or a 24 hour COSTIERASITA pass at €10 (Curreri Viaggi, SITA Sud and Unico Campania, checked September 2026).
Amalfi also has a direct SITA bus from Naples, line 5020 through Vietri sul Mare, with a few runs a day and about two hours on board. From April to early November, NLG ferries sail from Molo Beverello, the port of Naples, to Positano in about 1 hour 35 minutes (€32) and to Amalfi in about 1 hour 45 minutes (€32.50); from the airport you first have to reach the port.
A private transfer replaces the changes with one vehicle from the airport to your address, with the luggage in the car. The price is per vehicle, not per person: a family or a group travelling together shares one fare.
