From Naples airport to Sorrento we were in a small clapped out car with a broken back seat, and felt pretty unsafe with the driver's driving (maybe that's classic Italian driving...) he was typing on his phone, drifting lanes, at one point dropped his phone and was rooting around barely looking at the road. When it came to payment, he seemed confused about paying by card, despite the booking confirmation email saying I could pay in cash or card, no difference. At first he gave me the wrong QR code for €50 more than the agreed price... The joke of it is that when the payment did go through, it came up on my card as “luxury transfer”. The return trip was worse - nice car this time, but the driver was 30minutes late, they didn't contact me to let me know. I whatsapped the company asking where the driver was, they kept saying "5min away". Then the driver messaged me saying "don't tell me anything about the delay it wasn't my fault an accident right in Sorrento" which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. He was apologetic when he eventually arrived, and we were very polite to him despite waiting 30min in the hot sun for a taxi at the end of our holiday... But then, we finally arrived in Naples, and he asked for a tip! He said 10%, 20%, 30%. I politely but firmly said absolutely not - you were 30 minutes late... he kind of argued with a smile, saying "was it not comfortable for you, did I not do a good job?" and I said there will be no tip this time. I actually couldn't believe the audacity. Then for payment he also was surprised / annoyed I was paying by card. He then said there will be a 10% commission for paying by card. I said absolutely not, nowhere does it say that. Then he started going "I don't understand" which seemed convenient... Then the company whatsapped me a payment link for the amount + 10%. I said no, I will pay the agreed amount in my email confirmation, and the email does not say it costs extra to pay by card. So then they instantly sent a payment l
